MASpilled Scraps XI loading - we’re going BIG on this one
Had a collector send me some boxes he had and wanted to display in a better way on the wall. Some awesome contrasting colors and branding to integrate
I’ll add in a couple of my own boxes to bring this color palette to life
Next step will be creating a complex but clean composition to set this one off. End product will be 24x40”

MAPart two of a 40 hour build on this stylized vulture piece built entirely out of shoeboxes
We just finished the subject and now it is onto the border, background and framing
We’re about 30 hours in and well over 30 different shoeboxes being included in this work. Tons of details, precise cutting and hand cramping to bring this one to where it is
This piece is already accounted for and I can’t wait to show yall how it gets finished off with some additional elements

MAA little shoebox freestyle here. Went into this one with no plan an essentially a very rough around the edges 5 minute sketch.
Knew I wanted to create something bright, vibrant, with lots of energy. The tissue paper from the Jordan XIs alongside some of these bright colors really pop.
Sizable piece coming in at 20x24” custom framed and available upon posting. HMU if interested !

SOTrying to push things a little more than just pushing print 😆
Friday night was used to prototype a couple pf potential new models that SoleLayers can supply.
Using another of my personal 2024 concept sketches to bring through into reality. Along with a belter of a silhouette that @nike showcased at the “Art of Victory” exhibition which gave me faith that the design teams are as strong as they ever have been.
I also managed to get the profile of the React Vision model down, just the laces that need refining, I don’t like to let things go out unless they have been done correctly, we could push the React now and it would do fine but I know its not 100% so a couple more nights and learnings are needed before it meets the quality control standards for SoleLayers.
Full colour on the Art of Victory concept are what Id like to lock in this weekend, those supports that get caught in the open instep area are what need sorting as they cant be removed without damaging the vertical ribs that create the upper profile…

Marko Terzo is an artist and YouTuber recognized for his inventive upcycling and custom footwear designs. He takes sports balls such as basketballs, footballs, baseballs, and rugby balls, carefully deconstructs them, and repurposes the original materials into one-of-a-kind sneakers.

Most of these works took 40+ hours and are entirely hand made from the concept sketch all the way through the execution and final assembly
It is a meticulous process that I’ve grown to love. I appreciate all the shoebox donations over the years to allow me to keep perusing my dream of being an artist
