Happy Thanksgiving! I’m going to make a personal post later because Thanksgiving is hard for so many people, but I wanted to share this haircut because it’s my favorite one I’ve done in a really long time! My heart just melts when I look at this video, I actually get tears in my eyes. It was a really special experience to do such a huge transformation.

The video pretty much speaks for itself, but what I can say is that Regan has extraordinarily thick hair and so I carved really really deep into it with my razor, especially since we were going so so short. Halfway through the haircut it also looks adorable and that’s what it’s going to look like as it grows as long as it keeps getting cut into with a razor so it’s nice and textured.
I’m so happy with this one. I’ve worn my own hair this short, quite a few times in my life and it’s just so empowering.
