I went to 12 different public schools growing up. And hear me clearly — not every public school is bad. I had some amazing teachers. But when I look back? Less than a handful truly prepared me for real life. That says something. We’re told to trust a system that requires 13 years of attendance… with no guaranteed outcome. No guarantee your child gets the teacher they need. No guarantee the environment fits their personality. No guarantee they’re actually prepared for adulthood. That’s not an attack — that’s just reality. The beauty of homeschool isn’t rebellion. It’s responsibility. It’s being able to tailor education to your child’s developmental stage, learning style, strengths, and struggles. It’s removing the guesswork. It’s knowing they’re not just passing tests — they’re actually learning. I’m not anti-public school. I’m pro-intentional parenting. And for our family?
