51% of families rarely or never spoke about finances (Source: Experian), and that can build financial trauma.
Money felt like taboo in my family — it’s shameful to flaunt, spend, or mention it. I took that into adulthood and avoided any money talks. Unfortunately, this was not uncommon amongst my female friends. My guy friends, however, always talked about it, and I habitually shut down whenever that happened. It really took years of baby steps to improve my financial understanding topic by topic.
There isn’t much tactical advice in this video because personal finances is a humongous area. I’ll be planning a future money series for us soon!! 🙂

I used to grow up eating at Four Sea 四海豆漿 - their oil sticks and soymilk as well as rice balls were to DIE for. 🤤 You should definitely stop by if you’re ever in Irvine, Hacienda Heights, Arcadia, or San Gabriel!!
Also I made a game time decision to go home and I legit did not have any clothes, so I borrowed my brother’s clothes LOL. sorry for the scuffed fits. 😅
