They make up stories of how they’re feeling, what they’re thinking or if they’re hungry. Some psychologist argue it’s a form of deflecting how the human is really feeling. 👶🏻 Over baby’d dogs is something we deal with a lot - commonly associated with “my dog has anxiety or reactivity”. When really, they have the equivalent to possessive partner who won’t let them be social, meet other people/ dogs or trust them home alone 🐶 Understanding how we humanize our dogs can help us identify what boundaries we need to put in place to avoid the situation worsening and to be frank give your dog a better quality life.
