The ball rarely comes back in a straight line — 95%+ of the time its trajectory is leaving your opponent’s paddle at some type of angle. Because of this fact, jumping the middle and cutting off the “X” is not only smart, but strategically correct.
We all can’t be 6’4” tall like @andreidaescupkl and move as well as he does, so know your limits … but keep hunting the center and cutting off angles.
