I used the Mini Periwinkle and Mini Peel templates from the Missouri Star 3pc Mini Templates Bundle, and they are such a perfect size for fabric scraps and offcuts. Quilty experiment = success 🙌 When I made the Leaflet blocks for the Americana Flower Farm Sampler QAL, I adapted the 2" Square in a Square Paper from It’s Sew Emma and only used two opposite sides. I tested one block first, then mass sewed the rest, and it worked like a charm 🧵✨ Credit : fatquartershop❤️ 👀 Did you catch my mistake at the end? Yep—I left it that way in my quilt. EPP, I tried it years ago and have been hooked ever since. So many options and I can sit and watch a show or visit while doing it. My fam has a seven hour flight coming up that I’ve been prepping a plethora of Mini Hexi Flowers for. I am terrible at just sitting without keeping my hands busy. I’m a rebel and couldn’t pick just one EZ Quilting ruler to highlight. I used the Mini Hexi Flower, Mini Long Hexi, Mini 60 degree Diamond, and Mini Hexi. Thanks to @missouriquiltco for sending me some new shapes to try out. They also carry their own brand of EPP templates that works with 5” stackers. I do see some fussy cutting projects with those in my future.🤩 #msqcpartner #msqshowandtell #epp #handsewing #englishpaperpiecing

As my dear dad (aka Chief Counter of Paper Pieces) would have said, measure twice, cut once. As a general rule when I’m trimming appliqué blocks to size, I measure and mark it out first before cutting. I can guarantee the one time I don’t will be the time that I cut it incorrectly and have to start all over…… and yes I speak from experience, but thankfully you’ll be pleased to know all went well this time when cutting my Floriferous Quilt borders…… I’m almost there!
