This week we built our preschool day around the letter P and turned simple themes into meaningful skill-building: 🅿️ Pajamas — building classroom community + confidence 🅿️ Pirates — imaginative play + storytelling 🅿️ Pigs in Play-Doh — fine motor strength 🅿️ Penguins on ice — sensory exploration + science talk 🅿️ Peanuts — sorting + descriptive language 🅿️ Pizza cutting — early math + scissor skills Letter-of-the-week learning works because repetition builds neural connections. When kids see, hear, touch, and play with a concept all week long, it becomes theirs. For parents at home: you don’t need a complicated curriculum. Start with one letter. Build around it. The purpose of a launch is to provide children with a shared experience and common knowledge and to have FUN. Our classrooms listened to special music performances, took part in a fancy fashion show, created a whimsical room of light, went on dramatic play camp outs, and explored LEGO rooms. #projectbasedlearning #preschool
