I fell off this lifestyle AFTER getting into my best “shape” of my life. After losing 50 lbs. I was Lean and cut. And I had to start again (see ⬆️) This was by FAR a hard comeback for me. I ridiculed myself daily. I was uncomfortable. I felt defeated. I asked myself if it was even worth it? I told myself that if I couldn’t maintain it, why try again? (Not that I was even trying to maintain anything at this point) . . So. I got real. Asked myself: 1️⃣ “when did I FEEL my best?”I knew-I definitely felt amazing working out and eating healthy. 2️⃣“When/ Why did I not like it?” 🚨When my entire life and mind revolved around it. I didn’t like: Thinking about every morsel I ate, every exercise, was I going heavy enough? Did I push hard enough. Can I eat that cookie? How many steps do I need? Did I hit my macros. I didn’t like my APPROACH to fitness and health (and quite frankly how I projected what it HAD to be to have success). So I changed it. . . I changed it to What worked FOR me. Not what I READ I had to do or what OTHER people were doing. What would work for ME. What would make ME happy. I liked how I felt eating healthy and exercising. What if I didn’t have to be perfect or workout 6 days a week for 90-120 minutes? So I worked on being consistent. Sometimes I worked out 20 mins. Some days for 60 mins. Most days I ate 80% healthy and drank my water and other days I winged it all. But the ONE thing I was; was consistent. I consistently worked out 4-5 days a week for 20-60 mins and consistently ate WELL 70-80% and LIVED my life. And found MY balance of what MY fitness/health journey needed to be for MY happiness. And BOOM. . . Listen, I train people for a living and We can give you the best plan to get you what you want. 🚨BUT- YOU have TRULY be able LIVE. LIFE. outside of this. You have to be able to SUSTAIN your lifestyle. You probably won’t get your results in a month living the way that WORKS for you. You will in a few months or longer. You WILL get lasting/maintainable results and be ridiculously HAPPY. Reel it in! Don’t throw in the towel. Ask yourself 1️⃣ when do you feel your best, 2️⃣ what you don’t like about it, and ADJUST to YOU! And be consistent!

You thought it was calorie deficit didn’t you? Nope!! Not if you want it to LAST!! And here’s why. Most people have no idea what they are currently doing and this is a HUGE benefit. Wondering why you’re struggling? This is WHY. It’s almost ALWAYS why! Wonder why you keep falling off? Or feel hungry ALL the time? Because you don’t even KNOW how many calories or steps you were consuming/taking a day BEFORE you went into a deficit!! If you were consuming 3000 calories a day and your calorie deficit is 1500 a day, think you’re going to be hungry? Yep. You’re going to want to quit. BUT if you take in a DATA week. Without changing ANYTHING at all. We can look at where you are, adjust from there and get great results!! This information is KEY to your success. Yes a calorie deficit is great. But we don’t ALL need to go there FIRST. You will have success with making a deficit from what you are currently doing. Then getting you to maintenance and checking in how you feel. Dropping straight in your “bodies” deficit is not the smartest thing to do for many people. Know where you ARE first. You do not have to be hungry to lose weight. You do not always need to be in a deficit to start. You’ll lose weight just by shifting where you are NOW first. Got any questions? #caloriedeficit #progressoverperfection #getthedata #selfaware
