This is a skeletal survey with a series of X-rays used to visualize the entire skeleton or specific regions, aimed at detecting fractures, tumors, metabolic disorders, and signs of trauma.
X-ray techs take multiple x-rays of the whole body or specific regions while you lie down or stand, often taking 20-40 minutes.
Doing this on children can be sometimes a challenge 🙃

HEAfter just a year as a Rad Tech I felt so lost.
I carried work home every day.
I wasn’t just tired. I was beyond exhausted.
Confused every day on how I went from so excited to graduate to questioning every day “did I make the right decision?!”
I went to a different hospital. It helped for a while.
Then the cycle started all over again.
So I traveled until the cycle inevitably came back around.
I thought my burnout was coming from the job, the patients, the short staffing.
Boy was I wrong and until I figured that out, nothing changed.
Once I found out who I truly was outside of the hospital, life truly began.
Thats exactly what I’m teaching you inside of Healthy in Healthcare.
