IMIf you’re struggling with relapsing or just back/peddling in general, you might be focusing on the wrong thing. A lot of the time we focus on what we want, and not who we want to become. What we want usually isn’t very clear to begin with, and it’s usually singular, like something or someone or some event. Who we want to become is much more thought out. If you just focus on being sober, it’s gonna be a tough road, but if you focus on being the kind of person who can have fun and be social without alcohol and who invest their free time into their education and creativity, then you’re focuses on your systems that drive you towards long-term success.
