✨Rolling Tips✨ One of the most common rolling struggles is getting suck in side lying, arching, and not getting all the way to their belly! 📌Save & 💌Share this post if your little one is under 6 months and working towards rolling If your little one is getting frustrated and stuck trying to roll give these tricks a try: 1️⃣ Bring their top leg over! Your baby cannot roll if their leg is stuck back on the floor. This leads to arching, frustration and no rolling! 2️⃣ Bring hands hands to the middle to hold a toy for core engagement and extra “tuck” 3️⃣ Support you baby at their boots or top leg until they can hold the position by themselves! ✨ Bonus Pro Tip: Once they can get their top leg over….. they are ready to attempt the full roll! Rolling over is a big milestone for a baby. When a baby rolls over for the first time, it’s like a little surprise for the parents! It is a gross motor skill that is necessary for baby to build core strength, head control and weight shifting. Most babies will start rolling over around 4 months old. First they will learn to roll from their back to their tummy, and later from tummy to back. This is the most common time when babies can fall from height. So make sure you make a bedding for them on the floor and keep them on the floor. Here’s how you can encourage how baby to roll over - ✅ give maximum tummy time. It helps to build strength in back, neck and arms. ✅ use rattles to make their head tilt until their body turns to the side and they will finally roll over ✅ show them how its done by gently rolling the baby from side to side and then onto the back. Remember, all babies hit milestones at their own pace. Some babies will roll over but 6 months. Give them plenty of opportunity to practice. Suryansh started rolling over both sides at 4 months.
