Under the Government of India’s PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana, residential rooftop solar systems are eligible for subsidies until 31 March 2026.
Subsidy details:
• 1 kW: ₹30,000
• 2 kW: ₹60,000
• 3 kW or more: up to ₹78,000
The subsidy is directly transferred to the beneficiary’s bank account, and the scheme aims to benefit 1 crore households across India. Apply through the official PM Surya Ghar portal before the deadline.

IA1 crore homes will get solar panels in India !!
This gift was given by PM Narendra Modi after returning from Ram Mandir, by announcing the Pradhan Mantri Suryodaya Yojana.
Currently, we get up to 40% subsidy under the government's Rooftop Solar Program, using which 7 to 8 lakh households have installed solar panels.
But this is the case with those people who can afford solar rooftop, but the middle class and lower middle class are still away from this scheme.
And this gap will be filled by the Pradhan Mantri Suryodaya Yojana by installing solar rooftops on 1 crore houses.
Because if we believe the report of the Council of Energy, then 25 crore Indian households are capable of installing solar panels, which can fulfil India's electricity demand 3 times.
Eligibility criteria for this scheme have not been announced yet .

કરે છે…અને ઓછી જગ્યા અને વધુ પાવર આપસે
સોલર પેનલ કરતા પણ વધારે સસ્તું છે
😳આ રૂફ ટોપ પવન ચક્કી 😳
તેમણે વધુમાં જણાવ્યું કે રૂફટોપ પવન ઉર્જા પ્લાન્ટ્સ માટે પ્રતિ કિલોવોટ ઉત્પાદન ક્ષમતા પાછળ અંદાજે ₹1 લાખનો ખર્ચ થાય છે, જે સૌર ઊર્જા સિસ્ટમ્સની તુલનામાં વધુ છે. જોકે, પવન ઉર્જા સિસ્ટમ્સનો ઉપયોગ દર વધારે હોવાની શક્યતા છે. “પવન ઉર્જા સિસ્ટમ્સ લગભગ 35 ટકા ઉત્પાદન આપી શકે છે, જ્યારે સૌર પેનલ્સમાં આ દર લગભગ 18 થી 20 ટકા જેટલો રહે છે. પવન અને સૌર રૂફટોપ હાઇબ્રિડ સિસ્ટમ્સ ખર્ચ અને ઉત્પાદન બંનેને સંતુલિત કરવા માટે અસરકારક સાબિત થઈ શકે છે,” અધિકારીએ ઉમેર્યું.
સરકારની હાલની નીતિ સબસિડી પર કેન્દ્રિત નથી, પરંતુ ભવિષ્યની તૈયારી પર ભાર મૂકવામાં આવ્યો છે. “હાલમાં નીતિનો ફોકસ સબસિડી પર નહીં પરંતુ નોંધણી પ્રક્રિયા સરળ બનાવવા, સિસ્ટમ્સને સક્ષમ બનાવવા અને લાંબા ગાળાની સંભાવનાઓ તૈયાર કરવા પર છે,” અધિકારીએ જણાવ્યું.
ગુજરાતમાં રૂફટોપ અને નાના પાયે પવન ઉર્જા પ્રોજેક્ટ્સ પર કામ કરતી પુણે સ્થિત કંપની રેવાયુ એનર્જીએ પણ રાજ્યમાં કેટલાક પાયલોટ પ્રોજેક્ટ્સ અમલમાં મૂક્યા છે. કંપનીએ સુરત અને પોરબંદર જેવા શહેરોમાં રૂફટોપ પવન અને પવન-સૌર હાઇબ્રિડ પ્રોજેક્ટ્સ સ્થાપિત કર્યા છે, જે બંને ગ્રીડ સાથે જોડાયેલા છે. રેવાયુ એનર્જીના પ્રોજેક્ટ એક્ઝિક્યુશન હેડ શ્રવણ કુમાર વર્માએ જણાવ્યું કે પાયલોટ પ્રોજેક્ટ્સના ઇન્સ્ટોલેશન, કમિશનિંગ અને ટેસ્ટિંગ માટે પ્રતિ કિલોવોટ ખર્ચ લગભગ ₹2 લાખ થયો હતો. જોકે, નવી ગુજરાત સરકારની નીતિ અમલમાં આવવાથી આ ખર્ચ પ્રતિ કિલોવોટ ₹80,000 થી ₹90,000 સુધી ઘટી શકે છે, જે રૂફટોપ પવન ઉર્જાને વધુ વ્યાવસાયિક અને વ્યાપક બનાવશે.
