That’s because not only is sapphire one of the hardest natural materials but it’s also extremely TOUGH, making it second only to diamond in terms of scratch-resistance, but more durable when it comes to whacking it off a surface. September babies you’re very lucky because you have allll the colours of the rainbow (except red because that’s July’s birthstone).. But here’s the catch: sapphire is also one of the most synthesised and treated gemstones out there. From heat to diffusion to full-on lab-grown, the market is filled with enhancements and imitations. If you want me to do a separate video breaking all of that down, let me know 🕵🏼‍♀️ Moral of the story: if you’re buying a sapphire, buy from a trusted source.
