- **Effect**: Helps make thick hair more manageable by removing excess weight, but without altering the overall hairstyle drastically.
2. **Texturizing Shears**:
- **Purpose**: Create texture, movement, and layers in the hair.
- **Blade Structure**: These have wider teeth than thinning shears, sometimes on both blades, which results in cutting larger sections of hair.
- **Effect**: Adds dimension and volume by creating more dramatic, noticeable texture without thinning the hair too much.
