The area Bi Luo Chun is from, Dong Ting, is also famous for other agricultural products, such as loquat. This means that farmers have a financial incentive to grow more than one plant, allowing for biodiversity. In areas that sell a tea as famous as Bi Luo Chun, farmers often take out other plants to grow the tea so this type of biodiversity is not always seen in core locations.
