ANQuick touring PSA before you start pulling skins: release your ski brakes first.
Forgetting that step is how skis end up sliding hundreds (or thousands) of feet down the mountain… ask me how I know.
Skin storage is one of those things everyone has strong opinions about. Glue-to-glue works, but over time it can mess with the glue, especially if you’re doing a lot of laps. Multiple laps, skin savers make life easier. One lap, I usually just roll them and keep moving.
Small steps, big difference when you’re getting ready to drop in.
