Practicing a slow "prop fall" forward where you catch yourself with your hop onto your plant foot will solidify in your player the right technique to strike the ball solidly every time. Most shots in are done while moving with the ball making it even more important to be comfortable "leaning" into the ball while stationary (practicing) in order to hit these shots cleanly while running with the same technique. Lastly, these are strength drills for your legs. And great drills for your balance. Everything you do in that worth watching you will do on one leg. Training each leg to be independently strong and balanced as a plant foot will change the way you operate on the pitch! Today is the day! Alexs brand new fitness app has launched! 🥳 LINK IN MY BIO! I’m so incredibly proud of what he has produced, Alex has been training solidly for 15+ years & absolutely eats, sleeps & breathes it - he has put everything into this app to bring you all something that is so special & inclusive & easy to use. I’m 4 weeks in (a little week break for my holiday though haha) I started training & using the app once I was clear to do so after Abel, I needed it for my mental health & I wanted to get back strong & fit for my horse riding & for me in general. I have found it hard but so rewarding, I’m basically back starting as a beginner & it’s given me the guidance I’ve desperately needed. I’m not even a quarter way through my training & I’m feeling so much better, I’m not where I want to be but I’m taking it easy & on holiday a girl gotta live 😂.
