_NI’ve wanted to share something like this for the longest time.
To sit down at the end of a month and say, this is what I read, this is what kept me company.
But uninterrupted reading is a luxury when your life in the city runs on unpredictable schedules, early call times, delayed flights, last-minute plans, and days that disappear before you even notice. Some months I read in waiting rooms. Some in cabs. Sometimes just a few pages before my eyes give up for the night. And still, I miss it when I don’t read.
So this year, I’m choosing to be more deliberate about it. To protect small pockets of time. To carry a book in my bag again. To reach for pages instead of my phone. I want to read more than I ever have.
