We have both been in the practice of rituals in alignment with our own lineages for decades. It was a fun discovery when we found out about one another’s practices. What we bring to client work fully depends on the client. Some of our clients enjoy the idea of intention setting or prayer. Others are all in on spell work. It’s fully about the language, beliefs and intention of the individual. And everything we do on retreat is of course optional and individualized. As for our own practices, we regularly utilize ritual to clarify our work together, clear the path and set intentions on what we’d like to call in. We aren’t out here trying to interfere with anyone else’s work or whatever negative things that might conjure for you. We keep our eyes in our own paper and we help others do the same. Want to retreat with us? DM to be put on the waitlist. The next one will be particularly good for people who are open to ritual and the list will be the first to get details.

People don’t usually have a problem with it when it’s labeled “spiritual,” when it’s packaged as healing. Nobody’s up in arms when it’s crystals, energy work, intuition, spell work, or manifestation. All of it gets a pass because it doesn’t confront anything. It lets people stay exactly where they are while, in the vices they carry, while still feeling like they’re growing. But the moment the name of Jesus enters the conversation, everything shifts. Now it’s too much. Now it’s offensive. Now it’s “judgy,” “extreme,” or “uncomfortable.” And that reaction is more than worth paying attention to, because it reveals something much deeper than just the surface preference. Jesus doesn’t just exist as another spiritual option, He fully confronts. He draws lines, and enforces a response. He challenges what people would rather keep undefined, hidden, or rebranded. And not everyone is willing to face that fact, because it requires letting go of control, letting go of self-definition, and admitting that not everything labeled “light” actually is “of light” So when people react strongly to the name of Jesus, it’s not random, and it’s not just about tone or delivery. It’s about what His name actually does. It exposes, and it calls things what they are. The name of Jesus casts out the shadows and darkness, bringing light to the parts of ourselves we continue to run from, including demonic influence at play in these belief systems. And for a lot of people, that’s the part that feels uncomfortable. I’m speaking from experience. As someone who was immersed in this world for 15 years. I remember I used to feel the same way. Until one day, I met Jesus for myself. #jesus #occult #newage #christian #talk
