MIMy most used uncommon kitchen tool has to go to this Splatter Screen. I use this religiously almost everyday. It’s extremely helpful when I fry and cook on high heat.
Splatter screens are really good at:
- making clean up that much easier and faster
- protecting my skin and clothes! I can’t seem to avoid the oil stains
- ventilation
- keeping that crisp on the food
- browning without steaming = “BROWN FOOD is GOOD FOOD”
TIP: Add a paper towel on top for an extra layer of protect but be careful if you have a gas stove. This could catch fire.
This one from @oxo is really handy with the collapsible handle. High recommend getting one!! Since it collapses, it can stow away nicely in cupboards, and it can fit in the dishwasher.
