Pretty simple transformation as you can see that achieves quite a convincing robot and alt mode. Though the windshield does feel a little flat. Works well enough! In fact, the sequence is very similar to the studio series with a few added contortions, twists, and turns! @transformersofficial Studio Series 86 Leader Class Swoop Studio Series 86 Leader Class Swoop finally completes the Dinobot lineup in the Studio Series 86 line, and honestly he was absolutely worth the 4 year wait. After collecting them one by one, it feels so satisfying to finally have all five Dinobots together. Seeing the full team complete on the shelf just hits different and Swoop was the perfect final piece to bring it all together. Out of all the Dinobots in the line, Swoop is definitely the easiest and most straightforward to transform which makes him even more fun to handle and enjoy. He transforms into a pterodactyl, and both his robot mode and alt mode look fantastic with that clean G1 cartoon accurate design that Studio Series 86 has been doing so well. The sculpted details are excellent, the proportions look great, and the overall figure just has that premium feel that really stands out. This figure is highly detailed, beautifully designed, and just plain awesome from top to bottom. Swoop truly feels like the perfect final Dinobot to complete the team, and after waiting all these years, I can honestly say it was 100% worth it. The Studio Series 86 Dinobots are finally complete and it feels amazing. #transformers #autobots #decepticons #optimusprime #megatron

Quick Conversion: Let's Transform MPG-17 Optimus Prime from truck into his robot mode. What a unique step forward in the lineage of the Masterpiece Transformers. While the accuracy quotient is down, the fun factor is up. While I appreciated MP-44, it was too convoluted for me, and I disagreed with the inclusion of the voice box and backpack. MPG-17 feels like the rightful successor to MP-10 with a dash of Studio Series mixed in. It somehow bridges the world of MP and the mainline. It's not perfect but nonetheless very enjoyable. Transformers Studio Series has finally received the official listing for the Titan Class version of Grimlock from Transformers: Age of Extinction. The figure is priced at $189.99 before taxes and shipping, and alongside the listing, Hasbro also revealed a new set of much better official product photos. These updated images look significantly improved compared to the earlier preview shots, especially now that the shoulder teeth are properly installed and the dino feet spikes are fully deployed, which makes the sculpt look far more complete. The official listing also confirms the robot mode height at about 15 inches or 38 cm, making this the first live-action Titan Class release in Studio Series. Seeing the figure fully presented really changes the overall impression. The new articulated hands and the massive mace weapon add a lot of presence, and the standing upright roaring pose in dinosaur mode looks absolutely dramatic on display. The leg articulation also appears surprisingly strong, especially the ankle tilting capability shown in robot mode, which should help the figure achieve far more stable and dynamic poses despite its massive size. I also really like the updated proportions of the dinosaur legs. They are still large, but they look much more natural and balanced compared to the older Studio Series Leader Grimlock, whose legs often appeared overly long with awkward knee placement. Initially I wasn’t sure if I would pick this one up, but after seeing these official images, I’m actually considering getting it, especially with the idea of customizing it and recreating that iconic moment of Optimus Prime riding Grimlock on my Studio Series shelves. And with this being the first Titan Dinobot, it’s exciting to think that the next Titan Dinobot planned for 2027 should be revealed soon, around July 2026. Plastic quality is very nice. It feels like a brick in all three modes. Very nice shade of green. A deeper green than they used for the Studio Series one (kind of makes Studio Series Devastator a little pale in comparison). Not a lot of paint but the parts that are painted feel very durable so I’m not worried about it getting any scratches. . Articulation is very good. No issues with any of the ratcheted or friction joints. I feel confident that he’ll be able to support Devastator. Transformation between any of the 3 modes is fluid. A load of little parts and steps to remember but it feels very fluid and natural. . I will definitely be getting the other five when they come out.
