TUNING:
The number of half-steps between the strings are the same as AADGBE
Respectively that is: 12 5545 (tuning signature)
but the whole thing is tuned down several steps.
Idk the exact tuning I just tune by ear.

Those slow, deliberate head turns? That’s the owl’s way of mapping the world.
The eyes are locked in place and they physically can’t move them, so they rotate their entire head up to 270° to scan for anything interesting… like you, holding a camera.
Named after the River Styx of Greek mythology, the Stygian Owl earned its name from its dark plumage, shadowy habits, and those raised “horns” that make it look permanently suspicious.
