Unboxing my new Sudoku and Nonogram sets from @thesudoku.io @thesudoku_co_kr sudoku I’ve been a sudoku lover since I was a kid, I’ve always owned the books you can find at magazine stands and I’ve tried a lot of the apps but l’ve always been a very analog person, so putting pen to paper has always been my preference. I’ve also recently fallen in love the nonograms, I don’t know how l’ve gone all this time without learning what it was but I’ve become obsessed! So naturally when I randomly saw an ad for these two box sets, I knew they would be amazing additions to my desk and daily routine! You need to be following @jeanwang to receive the dm ) ✨ How I approach the Sudoku or 3x3x3 capsule wardrobe method for traveling light: 👟 Start with the shoes. Now this doesn’t apply to all types of trips (ie beach resort), but is KEY for sightseeing trips! For lots of walking, supportive sneakers are a must. But sneakers can be tricky since they don’t always look good with street clothes, and vice versa. I’d start by choosing a tried & true, low-profile sneaker in either white leather, neutral suede, or your signature pop of color. Once you have a good “anchor” sneaker nailed down, the other shoes are more flexible, and can be updated as you complete the puzzle. 👖 Add 3 bottoms that work with those shoes. This means pants that are the right length with flats, and skirts that actually look good with sneakers. 🧥 Add 3 layering pieces, which can range from jackets to sweaters to lightweight linen shirts and wraps for summer. If you don’t need this many layers, you can replace one with a dress. 👚 Tops are last but should still be carefully considered. I picked elevated staple tops that layer well under pieces, but still have enough shape to look good worn on their own. 💫 Silk & cotton scarves are an easy way to add print and patterns to your outfits without taking up much space. Think of it like a cheat sheet for travel with a carry on only (that *actually* works! 👀) I had a lot of requests to share a spring edit/sudoku packing capsule, so these 9 items (3x tops, 3x bottoms & 3x layering pieces) are all geared for that transition to warmer weather 🌞 (for the details, comment SUDOKU & I’ll send them straight to you! 💌) As a little refresher, you want to set up your packing sudoku like this… Top, bottom, layer Bottom, layer, top Layer, top, bottom Add shoes & accessories to complete ✨� A few pointers for a successful edit? #1 | Have a cohesive colour story. Neutrals or not, there should be harmony in the shades. A good way to gauge is to lay all the items out on your bed to see how the colours play together #2 | Make sure there’s variation in the silhouettes. The same style in three colours is basically a uniform and while it might make for easy dressing, it’s kinda boring 😅 Mix it up with long v short and fitted vs relaxed Save this post as a reminder for your next trip ✈️🧳
