Calories are NOT created equal… If they were, we wouldn’t see that people given processed foods end up overeating and gaining weight compared to those on a Whole Foods diet (PMID: 31105044)… Eating steak and fruit will never be the same as eating French fries and cookies filled with processed oils, sugar, and other harmful additives… How do you feel after eating at McDonald’s vs eating a steak and some fruit? The quality of the foods you eat dictates whether your body will use those calories for energy or store them as fat… Replace processed foods with unprocessed animal and plant foods and you feel better and thrive… Welcome to #theremembering 🏹

Sardine fasting = bad idea 👎 Sardines stored in aluminum cans are full of BPA, heavy metals, and oxidized lipids (PMID: 398769447, 35127680, 16192075, 35805336)… In other words, you’re just overloading on endocrine disrupting chemicals and other toxic substances during your “sardine fast”… If you really want to eat more sardines, make sure they are preserved in salt, stored in glass, and packaged very recently… But I don’t believe there’s anything magical about sardines… Regeneratively raised beef is much more nutrient dense and safer to eat… Welcome to #theremembering 🏹

Is this real!? 😳 If you’re wondering why our health has been deteriorating, look no further… Sitting under blue light for hours, no sunlight, no movement, and processed foods… I know that 9–5 jobs are rough, but there are a lot of things you can do to mitigate the downsides of sitting in a cubicle and eating processed foods… I’ve posted a video in the past showing how to live a healthy lifestyle with a 9–5 job. Your feet hate this… As humans, our feet are meant to be able to spread freely… Modern shoes can reshape your natural foot print and lead to imbalances and weakness… These weaknesses and poor mechanics negatively affect your knees, spine and the rest of your body… Your feet are like the foundation of a house - if they are weak, deformed, and unstable, all the other parts of your body will suffer… I understand you might be using these shoes to play sports, but you should definitely give your feet a break a couple times a day and reserve some time to go for a barefoot walk… Being able to move pain-free is key for longevity and it all starts with your feet… Spend more time barefoot and you will thrive… Welcome to #theremembering 🏹

Parmesan > protein bars… Some people will argue that’s it’s “too high” in calories… Sure, it’s high in calories that are rich in vitamins and minerals and healthy fats that your body uses for energy and optimal metabolic functions… Meanwhile, a protein bar might have less calories but it’s filled with synthetic additives, processed oils, and virtually no bioavailable vitamins and minerals… In other words, those are empty calories your body doesn’t know how to metabolize into usable energy and is more likely to store them as fat… Replace protein bars with real whole food and you will thrive… Welcome to #theremembering 🏹

I found the cleanest water… Studies shows microplastics, heavy metals, and forever chemicals can be quite dangerous for your health (PMID: 35608037, 38446676, 32476019, 30848227, 33313651, 36917694, 36498077)… And I don’t think we should underestimate estimate the fact that a lot of the water we’re drinking is contaminated… If you can’t afford to buy water in glass, invest in a reverse osmosis filter.
