How many times do you turn throwing into something far more complex than it is? ⁠ ⁠ For a right-handed pitcher, the throw is just a turn to the left. That’s it. Not a forced counter-rotation. Not yanking the torso back to “create separation.”⁠ ⁠ Think about throwing a punch — you don’t actively twist away from the target to create stretch. You move forward, plant, and rotate through. The rear side lags because of inertia — not because you tried to hold it back.⁠ ⁠ Same thing here.⁠ ⁠ As you move down the mound, the pelvis begins to rotate left. The torso has mass. Mass resists change. That brief delay is separation. Start closed. Build momentum. Then turn left. Let inertia give you the stretch instead of fighting for it.
