Last week, our team made a major move, we acquired a Tremec TKX 5-Speed Transmission from Tremec’s largest distributor, Dederichs Motorsports. With the TKX quickly becoming just as popular (if not more) than the TR6060 and T56 across the U.S., we knew it was time to act. As of yesterday, we’ve officially started 3D scanning the TKX casing and internals. the first step toward designing a race-ready, drop-in dog engagement gear set. Our goals are clear: - Eliminate syncro limitations - Enable faster, more aggressive shifting - Handle much more power - Maintain full compatibility with your TKX casing This new gearset will be designed specifically for high-horsepower applications, whether it’s drag, street, or circuit use. We’re taking everything we’ve learned from building bulletproof gearsets and applying it directly to the TKX platform.
