XAJ’avais dit au début du Dakar que c’est souvent lui qui décide pour nous… et aujourd’hui, il nous a bien rappelé à l’ordre : 2 crevaisons et 1h de mécanique à 70km de l’arrivée 🥵
On savait que ça allait être une spéciale longue et éprouvante pour la mécanique, et on a bien souffert aussi !
C’est une étape marathon, donc ce soir, un peu de mécanique et une nuit sous la tente avant de retrouver l’équipe et le bivouac demain !
On perd la tête du général, mais Polaris est toujours aux avant-postes ! Le Dakar est encore long, voyons ce qu’il nous réserve pour la suite… On va tout donner 👊 !
At the start of the Dakar, I said it’s often the race that decides for us… and today, it reminded us of that: 2 punctures and 1 hour of repairs at 70km of the finish line 🥵
We knew this would be a long and tough stage for the mechanics, and we really felt it!
It’s a marathon stage, so tonight, a bit of repair work and a night in the tent before rejoining the team and the bivouac tomorrow!
We lose the lead in the general rankings, but Polaris is still at the front! The Dakar is far from over, let’s see what’s next… We’ll give it everything we’ve got 👊!

DISupermini closed the show here at the #transcan
#213 @hayden_dupuis213 grabbed the holeshot ahead of #10 @braxton_zeitner10 and #5 @talonmedaglia but fell after the rollers and dropped back.
Zeitner didn’t look back and took the win while Medaglia settled into 2nd and came away with the championship.
#55 @55cruzgordon held off relentless pressure from #315 @treyschmucki315 to take 3rd.

DI250 Intermediate saw Michigan rider #47 @jaydenstruble_ out front with #120 @jacobfrederickson25 in tow before he dropped back with an issue.
#1 @tegankortenbach and #48 @jayden_riley48 were the riders on the move.
Tegan got to the front and then Jayden made the move on Struble to take 2nd and set out after Tegan.
