AS"غرفة آايم" (Ame's Room) هي واحدة من أشهر الخدع البصرية التي تجعل الشخص يبدو وكأنه ينمو أو يتقلص بمجرد المشي من زاوية إلى أخرى.
إليك شرح مبسط لكيفية عملها:
1. التصميم الهندسي (الشكل الحقيقي)
على عكس ما تراه العين، الغرفة ليست مربعة أو مستطيلة، بل هي شبه منحرف (Trapezoid) مشوه:
الزوايا: إحدى الزوايا بعيدة جداً عن الناظر، بينما الزاوية الأخرى قريبة جداً.
الأرضية والسقف: ليسا مستويين، بل يميلان بزوايا دقيقة لتبدو الجدران متوازية من نقطة معينة.
2. سر الخدعة (المنظور القسري)
فتحة الرؤية: تعمل الخدعة فقط عند النظر من ثقب صغير (Peephole) باستخدام عين واحدة فقط. هذا يمنع الدماغ من استخدام "إدراك العمق" الطبيعي الذي توفره الرؤية بالعينين معاً.
افتراضات الدماغ: دماغنا مبرمج على افتراض أن الغرف دائماً مستطيلة وزواياها قائمة. بدلاً من أن يدرك الدماغ أن الغرفة مشوهة، فإنه يختار تفسير "تغير حجم الشخص" ليحافظ على فكرة أن الغرفة طبيعية.
3. التأثير البصري
عندما يقف شخصان في الزوايا:
الشخص في الزاوية القريبة يملأ مساحة أكبر من شبكية العين فيبدو "عملاقاً".
الشخص في الزاوية البعيدة يملأ مساحة أصغر فيبدو "قزماً".
بما أنك تعتقد أن كلاهما على نفس البعد (لأنك تظن الجدار الخلفي مستقيماً)، يخدعك عقلك بأن أحجامهم هي التي اختلفت.
حقيقة ممتعة: استُخدمت هذه التقنية في أفلام شهيرة مثل "سيد الخواتم" (Lord of the Rings) لجعل الهوبيت يبدون قصار القامة مقارنة بـ "غاندالف" دون استخدام جرافيك معقد.
