Plantar fasciitis isn’t just about tight arches…often it comes from weak intrinsic foot muscles that can’t support the arch properly. A simple towel exercise strengthens those small stabilizers by forcing your toes and arch to grip and curl, building endurance and stability in the plantar fascia. Over time, this reduces strain, improves alignment, and helps absorb shock more effectively, often doing more for long-term relief than pricey orthotics or passive treatments. Comment “Plantar” below and I’ll send you my free PDF on managing plantar fasciitis so you can get pain free ASAP! If you have plantar fasciitis or struggle pain under your heel when you first wake up or after sitting, this video is for you. We’re going to use rigid strapping tape running it from the outside to the inside of the foot to support the arch. We overlap each previous strip by about 30% to keep the arch secure. When we get to the big toe joint, we’ll run the tape from the inside to the outside dropping that big toe down and shortening the plantar fascia. Finally we’ll run a long strip around the outside to finish it off. Give it a try and let me know how you go! #podiatry #footpain #plantarfasciitis #running #heelpain

The ACTUAL fix for plantar fasciitis (HINT - it's NOT stretching) ⬇️ - You don't get plantar fasciitis because your plantar fascia is "too tight". You get it because it's overloaded. Therefore we need to strengthen the foot and ankle so they're better able to tolerate load. - See the FULL VIDEO over on my Tone and Tighten YouTube channel (link in bio) and be sure to share this one with a friend who needs to see it! 🙌🏼

Plantar fasciitis can be worked with when you’re rolling your foot on a foot roller. Do you wanna loosen up that plantar fascia on the bottom of the foot. This foot roller will soften that tissue on the bottom of your foot and it’s gonna push on all those pressure points too great for people who stayed on their feet all day long. #protecttheom #berdealzz

Plantar fasciitis is an irritation of the thick band of tissue along the bottom of the foot, and when it flares up, even simple steps can feel painful. But gentle, well-chosen movements can help ease tension, improve mobility, and support recovery. This routine includes eight exercises that target the sole of the foot, the calf, and the ankle — the areas most involved in reducing strain on the plantar fascia. Move slowly, stay within a comfortable range, and pay attention to how your foot responds. via @colunasemdor_

Plantar fasciitis isn’t just about tight arches...often it comes from weak intrinsic foot muscles that can’t support the arch properly. A simple exercise like this strengthens those small stabilizers by forcing your toes and arch to flex and extend, building endurance and stability in the plantar fascia. Over time, this reduces strain, improves alignment, and helps absorb shock more effectively, often doing more for long-term relief than pricey orthotics or passive treatments. Plantar fasciitis is a common condition that causes pain in the heel and bottom of the foot. It happens when the plantar fascia—a thick band of tissue that connects your heel bone to your toes—becomes inflamed due to overuse, long hours of standing, running, wearing improper footwear, or tight calf muscles. The pain is usually strongest with the first steps in the morning or after long periods of rest. With proper rest, stretching, supportive footwear, and strengthening exercises, most people can recover and get back to pain-free movement. #PlantarFasciitisRelief #FootPainTreatment #HeelPainRelief #FootStretch #FootExercises

3 stretches that help plantar fasciitis Plantar fasciitis is relentless. That burning, aching sensation in your arch and heel doesn't just disappear when you sit down—it follows you into the evening, stealing your comfort and keeping you up at night. Here's what actually works: Stretch 1: Calf Stretch. Stand facing a wall, one leg forward, one back. Keep your back heel on the ground and lean into the wall. Hold 30 seconds. Tight calves pull on your plantar fascia—releasing them eases heel pain. Stretch 2: Plantar Fascia Release. Roll a tennis ball or massage ball under your arch, applying gentle pressure. Roll from heel to toe for 2 minutes. This breaks up tension and improves blood flow to the fascia. Stretch 3: Toe Towel Curl. Sit and place a towel on the floor. Curl your toes to pull the towel toward you. Repeat 10 times. Strengthens the arch and reduces strain on the fascia. The Bonus: After stretching, apply Muscle MX Recovery's cooling formula to your arch and heel. The cooling action reduces inflammation and eases that characteristic burning—fast. It's the perfect finish to your plantar fasciitis relief routine. Your feet carried you all day. They deserve relief when the day is done. #footpain #plantarfasciitis #cooling #footcare #activerelief

Over 45% of people with plantar fasciitis still have symptoms 10 years later. Ten. Years. That statistic stopped me in my tracks, not because plantar fasciitis can’t improve… but because most people never get the right approach. PF isn’t just a heel pain problem. It’s a load tolerance problem. A functional issue. And when that isn’t addressed, people stay stuck. I know you don’t want to cross off the next decade because every step hurts. The good news? It doesn’t have to be that way. Put your focus on a rehab plan that restores, natural foot function and mobility. 👉 Put the word “PROGRAM” in the comments and I’ll send you my protocol to ditch PF at home. Plantar fasciitis exercises for morning heel pain 👇 That sharp heel pain when you step out of bed? That’s plantar fasciitis. Plantar fasciitis is one of the most common causes of heel pain and it’s often worst after rest that’s because during sleep, your feet often rest in a pointed-down position, which allows the fascia and calf muscles to tighten. The sudden transition from rest to bearing full body weight creates intense, sharp pain as the fascia is forcefully stretched. These plantar fasciitis exercises are designed for plantar fasciitis pain relief before you start your day. Instead of forcing your first steps, gradually load the tissue and prepare your foot for weight-bearing. If you’re dealing with ongoing heel pain from plantar fasciitis, do these before you even get out of bed. Save this for tomorrow morning. #plantarfasciitis #plantarfasciitisexercises #heelpain #heelpainrelief #footpain
