Quantum computing is a new type of computing that uses qubits, which can represent more than just 0 or 1, to tackle certain problems in very different ways than normal computers do.
Its biggest promise is in areas like materials science, drug discovery, optimization, and cryptography, where it could eventually do useful work beyond classical machines.
Like AI was, it’s the kind of thing that could explode and change our lives.

FO"Quantum computing is reaching an inflection point," Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang said at Nvidia’s GTC Paris conference.
Huang noted that Nvidia has more than 20 “AI factories” in development across the continent, promising European researchers and startups that their “GPU shortage will be resolved” soon.
The CEO also touched on Nvidia’s quantum computing efforts, spotlighting its hybrid quantum-classical platform, Cuda Q, and claiming that the technology could begin solving real-world problems in the next few years.
