Dot and Rylee are living their best life! 🐾 Now that Willow Cottage garden is planted, we are busy with flower farm work. Spending lots of time weeding these days. Oh joy! Haha! 🤣 Late this week and over the weekend, the plan is to plant all our last round of cut flowers. It will be so great to have all the flower farm planting done. Our first Sunset Garden Tour & U-Pick Experience is the end of the month so we want everything to look beautiful. 🌸 Tickets are sold out for our first Sunset Tour of the season, and we only have 2 tickets left for our July 29th Sunset Tour. 🧡 Happy gardening friends! Yarrow! {Achillea millefolium} 🌿 Is one of my must have herbs in my garden. 🌱 Not only is it native, so it is food and medicine for those that share this land with me AND It’s also incredible medicine for people. 🍃 If there’s a wound, yarrow to the rescue. It can help stop bleeding, offer antibacterial care, and even clean up old wounds that need it. I really love it as a compress. Make a strong tea with it, soak a cloth with it and apply it to the area for anywhere from 30 minutes to a few hours. ✨ I love it for congested or swollen sinuses that need the tissues to tighten up. Great as a sinus rinse (tea along with the saline packet in your nedi bottle). It’s also helpful as a tea and why we put it in our sinus dry the drips herbal tea. 💫 Speaking of tightening and toning, it’s an amazing bowel tonic for boggy, swollen or leaky bowel tissue. Great as a tea here. Yarrow is easy to grow and a perennial in my zone, 7B. I actually planted another 60’ this year and I can’t wait for the rest to bloom. Yarrow makes a great filler in bouquets and can also be dried.
