Me realizing… Jesus spoke 7 times on the cross… and every word unlocked something. Series - The Pendragon Cycle He didn’t waste His breath. Every sentence—spoken in pain, dripped with purpose. Bleeding. Struggling to breathe. Nailed to a tree. And still… He spoke. 1️⃣ “Father, forgive them…” → He unlocked mercy for the undeserving. (Luke 23:34) 2️⃣ “Today you will be with Me in paradise.” → He unlocked salvation for the guilty. (Luke 23:43) 3️⃣ “Woman, behold your son.” → He unlocked family at the foot of His cross. (John 19:26–27) 4️⃣ “My God, why have You forsaken Me?” → He unlocked the weight of separation—so we’d never feel it. (Matthew 27:46) 5️⃣ “I thirst.” → He unlocked His humanity, so we’d never doubt He understands. (John 19:28) 6️⃣ “It is finished.” → He unlocked the end of sin’s grip—once and for all. (John 19:30) 7️⃣ “Father, into Your hands I commit My spirit.” → He unlocked surrender—the way back home. (Luke 23:46) That’s when it hit me: Even in His dying… He was still delivering. Still teaching. Still breaking chains. Every word from that cross wasn't weakness— it was warfare. Type “Every word still speaks” if you know those final 7 weren’t the end— they were the beginning of everything. Because when Jesus speaks from the cross… eternity listens. #God #Bible #BibleQuote #BibleScripture #Jesus Christian Christianity

How to Read the Bible with Understanding Have you ever read the Bible… and felt more confused than encouraged? You’re not alone. Many believers were taught to read Scripture but never taught how to understand it. So verses get pulled out of context. Meaning gets twisted. And people end up depending on someone else to tell them what God said. But God didn’t give His Word so you could stay confused. He gave it so you could know Him. When we learn to read Scripture with context, clarity, and humility, the Bible stops feeling random, and starts revealing one unified story of redemption through Christ. Understanding grows with consistency. Clarity grows with context. Wisdom grows when we seek truth instead of confirmation. You don’t need to be a scholar. You just need to be faithful. Christ is King.

That moment it hit me… There was one thing Jesus never prayed for— and it changes everything. He never asked for an easier life. Never prayed to escape suffering. Never begged for comfort. Even in Gethsemane— when sweat became blood— He didn’t ask for relief. → (Luke 22:44) He asked for alignment. “Not My will, but Yours be done.” → (Luke 22:42) That’s what shook me. Because Jesus had the authority to ask for rescue— and chose obedience instead. He prayed for strength. For surrender. For the Father’s will. Never once for convenience. That’s when it hit me: We pray for outcomes. Jesus prayed for faithfulness. We ask God to change the situation. Jesus asked God to shape the heart. He taught us to pray, “Your kingdom come, Your will be done.” → (Matthew 6:10) Not my comfort. Not my timing. Not my plan. So if prayer feels unanswered— maybe it’s because God is doing something deeper than what you asked for. Because the goal of prayer was never escape. It was obedience. Type “Amen” if you’re done praying only for ease— and ready to pray like Jesus did. #God #Bible #BibleQuote #BibleScripture #Jesus #Christian #Christianity

Anxiety is not just a feeling to manage, it is a signal revealing where our deepest hopes are placed. Scripture does not shame our worries, it invites us to bring them into the presence of God through prayer. When fear grips the heart, it is often because something finite has taken the place of ultimate trust. Prayer does not simply calm the mind, it reshapes what we love and what we rely on. As our attention is redirected toward God, anxiety loosens its grip and peace begins to grow. #Bible #Christian #Jesus #Faith #Amen

That moment it stopped feeling comfortable… Jesus ignored desperate cries for help more than once. And nobody likes to talk about it. Because desperation sounds holy. Urgency feels justified. And unanswered cries feel cruel. So we skip these moments. The father begged Him to heal his daughter— but Jesus stayed silent. → (Matthew 15:22–23) Lazarus was dying— and Jesus delayed on purpose. → (John 11:6) Crowds followed Him for bread— and He walked away. → (John 6:26, 66) At first, that shook me. Why wouldn’t Jesus rush? Why wouldn’t He respond immediately when the need was real? That’s when it hit me: Jesus was never ignoring pain. He was refusing to be controlled by it. Because desperation doesn’t always come from faith. Sometimes it comes from fear. Sometimes from entitlement. Sometimes from wanting relief without transformation. Jesus knew something we don’t like to admit: If He answered every cry instantly, we would worship the outcome— not Him. With Lazarus, He waited until hope was completely dead. → (John 11:39) Why? So no one could confuse a healing with a resurrection. So faith wouldn’t be placed in timing… but in His authority. Even on the cross, people shouted for Him to save Himself. → (Matthew 27:40) And He didn’t. Not because He couldn’t— but because love sometimes looks like restraint. Jesus wasn’t slow. He was intentional. He wasn’t heartless. He was guarding something deeper. Because immediate rescue can stop eternal transformation. And here’s the truth we avoid: Sometimes Jesus delays not to punish you— but to save you from trusting the wrong miracle. So if heaven feels quiet while your heart is loud… Remember this: Silence from Jesus has never meant absence. It has always meant purpose. Type “I trust His timing” if you’re learning that Jesus doesn’t ignore cries— He answers them in ways that keep Him Lord. #God #Bible #BibleQuote #BibleScripture #Jesus #Christian #Christianity

👑🕊️ How Jesus proved the Bible is the ONLY Word of God The biggest criticism leveled against Scripture is that “it was written by men.” But, that’s not a weakness—that’s the miracle. The Bible isn’t a book; it’s a library of 66 books written by over 40 different people (39 Jews and 1 non-Jew) spanning more than 1,500 years. These authors lived on three continents, spoke three languages, and many never even knew each other. Yet, from Genesis to Revelation, there is an absolute unity of thought and one continuous story. Think about it: Can you get twenty people today in one room to write an essay on a single topic and get agreement? That coherence is an impossibility apart from the inspiration of God Almighty. Beyond its impossible unity, the Bible is also relentlessly Historically Accurate. For hundreds of years, archaeology has used the Old and New Testaments to find buildings, people, and civilizations that historians thought didn’t exist, only to dig them up exactly where the Bible said they were. It means real people really existed and really wrote down what they saw. It is worth considering. But the final, undeniable proof? Jesus. He arrived on the scene and fulfilled every single one of the Old Testament’s 300+ prophecies. We know the first Greek translation (the Septuagint) was done 250 years before Jesus was born. How could anyone know He would be born in Bethlehem, betrayed for 30 pieces of silver, or crucified (when that was not yet a capital punishment)? It’s statistically impossible—unless God wrote the script. And then, Jesus validated it all: He said He would die and come back to life. Nobody had ever done that. And He did. The disciples who ran away in fear were suddenly willing to be martyred for one reason: They saw Him die and they saw Him come back. 🤯 Is the Bible’s prophetic accuracy the single strongest argument for its divine nature? Let me know in the comments! And FOLLOW for daily truths that anchor your faith in history and proof! 👑✝ #faith #christian #jesus #bible #god

Day 1 of letting social media fill our future Daughter's Bedroom with bible verses🩷 20 new followers = 1 bible verse written. Our current story ⬇️ After miscarrying our first pregnancy in fall 2025 at 9 weeks, we were incredibly grateful to get pregnant again. At 8 weeks we had our first ultrasound and a NIPT blood test. The results showed a 62% chance of Trisomy 18 (Edwards syndrome)—extra 18th chromosome that can lead to serious organ complications, and many babies don't survive past the first year. During the ultrasound, doctors also found a cystic hygroma (fluid behind baby’s neck), which can sometimes be associated with chromosomal issues. At 12-week high-risk scan, we saw some encouraging signs. Our daughter has a normal umbilical cord (two arteries and one vein), which is often abnormal in T18 babies. A possible VSD (small hole in the heart) was mentioned then, but our OB did not see it again at our 15-week scan. The cystic hygroma is still present for now. Where we are today: We will be doing an amniocentesis soon, which will give us a definitive diagnosis. Our latest ultrasound showed healthy growth, a normal nasal bone, and no physical markers commonly seen with T18, though the fluid behind her neck remains (which can sometimes resolve). Possible outcomes: • Abnormal cells only in the placenta/cord and not affecting the baby • Mosaic Trisomy 18, where only some cells are affected • Full Trisomy 18, which often leads to loss during pregnancy or shortly after birth Our perspective: We’ve been encouraged by some to terminate early, but we will not be doing that and will love our daughter no matter the outcome. We’re sharing this in hopes it helps other couples going through something similar feel less alone. Through it all, we’ve leaned on God more than ever and are reminded that any life is a miracle. If you feel led, please pray for our Haven. 🩷 And follow for more updates. #christianity #scripture #becomingadad #dadtraining #nursery
