Well if you use "100vh" for 100 viewport height, you might think that'll work great But on mobile, this value changes if the browser has the extra menu open (hides on scroll down) This causes jumping around when the user scrolls. Do NOT use vh! There is a big problem with viewport units so don’t use vh, use this instead. Using 100vh is essentially saying to use 100% of the height of the screen. However, browser height is not taken into account on mobile devices. To solve this issue, new unit values are now available: Small viewport (svh/svw) which takes into account the address bar and the toolbar Large viewport (lvh/lvw) which doesn’t take into account the address bar and the toolbar Dynamic viewport (dvh/dvw) which changes its value depending on if the toolbar is visible or not Save this tip. #100daysofcode #csstips #css
