It’s never too late to heal your relationship with the algorithm.

Remember, the algorithm is really just your audience. Let’s eliminate those mistakes that make people scroll.
1. Hook is weak
This is one of the top reasons I see for low views. Your text must stop us in our tracks by talking to a specific person, about a situation or tapping into emotions.
2. People just don’t know what your reel is about
If people can’t tell what’s going to happen or that there’s going to be some sort of “payoff” for them watching, they’ll scroll on to the next reel.
Short, specific text on screen is an easy way to fix this.
3. The reel is too static
People like being taken on a journey. We like watching things happen. Use movement!
Even if your just move the camera to “reveal” something as simple as the sky or walk into frame, start using movement as a way to capture people’s attention.
4. No reason to re-watch
The algorithm is looking for content that keeps people watching.
Reveal something at the end of reel that makes people want to re-watch. Or get them into the captions.
5. Text is hard to read
Simple, but important.
Don’t use difficult to read or fancy fonts.
Make your text big enough to read.
Make it a different colour than the background.
6. Expectations
If your account is small or you’re just starting, expect small views to begin. This is completely normal.
Look for small bumps above your baseline views to see what’s starting to work.
Give the algorithm a chance to find your ideal audience. That means you showing up consistently so your content gets better and people get the chance to find you.
It’s never too late to build your audience.

LIfollower growth worked SO well for me because it’s what my business needed at that time.
I KNEW it’s what it needed because my waitlists were crickets, I had little to no response on my new one to many offer and my email was stagnant.
SO MANY PARTS need to be working together and whilst I think audience growth is life changing, it’s all important to know that it doesn’t exist on its own.
