A former National Tax Service (NTS) investigator, Moon Bo Ra, shared insights suggesting that the investigation may not have originally focused on Cha Eun Woo himself, but rather on his agency, Fantagio. Moon explained on her YouTube channel that the controversy revolves around a “paper company” reportedly used to manage Cha Eun Woo’s earnings. While using a company to handle income isn’t inherently illegal, the NTS viewed this particular company—owned by Cha Eun Woo’s mother—as lacking real operations. The audit reportedly began with Fantagio, but during the review, large sums of money were traced to this company, unexpectedly bringing Cha Eun Woo into focus.
