ARZaha Hadid was a renowned architect and designer from Iraq. She was widely considered to be one of the most important architects of the 21st century and was known for her bold, futuristic designs that often appeared to defy gravity. Hadid’s style is often described as “deconstructivist,” characterized by fragmented shapes and unexpected angles.
She was the first woman to receive the Pritzker Architecture Prize, one of the most prestigious awards in the field. She also received numerous other awards throughout her career, including the Stirling Prize, the RIBA Gold Medal, and the Design Plus Award.
Hadid’s approach to architecture was heavily influenced by her background in mathematics and her interest in parametric design. She was also known for her use of cutting-edge technology and innovative building materials, such as carbon fiber and parametric modeling software.

Best 3D modeling software:
Rhinoceros is an excellent tool for parametric design. It has the ability to model almost anything, specially with grasshopper as its integrated plug-in. Yes, Revit is an industry standard, and it is crucial to be familiar with it, but I think it is quite behind in its parametric modelling capabilities.
Best 2D drafting software:
Honestly, nothing beats @autocad. It is THE industry standard for 2D drawing. It is set with all the tools to draw efficiently. I just can’t say enough about it.
Best rendering software:
I have used Vray for almost 2 years before switching to @lumionofficial. Vray is great, HOWEVER, the amount of time it takes to render is just unbelievably long. Lumion produces renders within seconds, the interface is very straightforward, it has a huge material library and you can import to it very easily, and it can handle quite large 3D files with no issues.
