You can set up simple, easy activities like these within 2 minutes to keep them busy while you have a cup of coffee in peace. I usually use the same 5-6 supplies to set up multiple activities: - Pom Poms - ⁠Painter's Tape - ⁠Balls - ⁠Construction Paper - ⁠Pipe Cleaners - ⁠Craft Sticks Mostly, I pair these with whatever I already have in my home, common household items (cardboard boxes, bakeware etc) and it becomes a good 10-15 minutes of independent play for my toddler. Incorporating a favourite subject, such as art, with a not so favourite can help create interest. Rather than just using beads, finding the acorns they created, ready to be used for some learning makes a bit of a difference.
