WHO TO HIRE⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ Stop trying to copy and paste someone else’s hiring plan without getting full context.⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ Hiring specific positions is based off of different desired outcomes, different stages of growth, and different strengths + weaknesses from each entrepreneur.⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ Just because an established 6 or 7 figure business has an operations manager, podcast manager, graphic designer, DOESN’T MEAN your new startup needs one.⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ For your FIRST hire as a SMALL business making less than 6 figures, hire someone who can take time consuming but high impact things off your plate so you can get TIME back AND make money back on your new hire.⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ Examples: Client Admin, DMs and prospect engagement, content delivery. ⁣ ⁣ Your needs will be different depending on what area needs the most help. ⁣⁣⁣ 2. WHEN TO HIRE⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ This also looks different for everyone, but here are some pointers.⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ 👉🏼 Hire when you can afford to hire. ⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ For a full time solopreneur, this can be when your business is actually generating revenue and you know you need more help in order to keep growing.⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ For someone who is strapped for time because they work a demanding 9-5, this can be you using part of your pay check to outsource some things right from the get go.⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ 👉🏼 When more mistakes are being made.⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ You know you’ve exceeded your own capacity when YOU start making mistakes in business.⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ I knew I had to hire the day I sent a client another clients folder by accident. What got you to where you are now will NOT get you to where you want to go. I’ve invested tens of thousands of dollars in myself and my business over the last decade. Success leaves clues. Industry specific questions: these are questions based on the service you provide that you need to know about their business. Ex: podcast manager: do you already have a podcast? Ex: ad manager: what’s your monthly budget for running ads? Ex: OBM: what is the size of your team. 3. Red Flag questions: these are the questions most service providers leave off and one of my favorite for weeding out if someone is serious or not. We averaged $100k/ month for nearly 2 years in a row. Surpassed nearly $2.7 million in organic sales (no paid ads or team) and I shut the whole thing down in January this year. It was my husband who was whispering to me to take a break and stop. He saw the pain mentally I was facing. Deep depression. Not in the way you might think (like not getting out of bed) but in my mood & the way I felt about myself and life. I didn’t see the point anymore. I hated my body. And I felt so lonely. You see when you face that kind of success at 30 years old, people don’t talk about the downsides. You just see the wins bc it’s very hard for ppl to relate to you. But internally I was struggling. I was seeing a therapist weekly. So January 1st we shut it all down. I went from $100,000 months to nearly $0 over night. I don’t know many who would do this but it saved my life and my business. We spent the next 3 months as a family. I wasn’t allowed to talk about work, think about work or anything. I spent time with the Lord and in late March I started to open my coaching again. I had one student sign up for my high level Mastermind (shout out @geniusmomhacks ) — I felt so confused in this moment, like God where is everyone? I thought my Mastermind would sell out instantly. But it was different this time. I would have to rebuild my entire business from the ground UP. And I did. But this time I did it from a place of sustainability and made my first hire shortly after. I built a small team (me, my husband (Podcast manager) and our assistant/ now Social Coach). I stopped doing everything myself and started learning how to delegate. And I changed my business model… no more hard launches. I also heavily invested in myself in a biz coach and financial team to get back on track mentally. Now, my business is thriving but not in the way you might think. I’m not making $100k cash months (yet) but I will be and it will feel very different. The last 4 months I have contracted 60,80,86 and now on track to hit 100k months which will pay out over the next 6-12 months. I will continue to follow the plan Keeping my core offers the same. How I know my process works 🙌 Because this isn't the first time. My first business 👇 Hi six figures within the first two years (when I could only work 6 hours per week)... Everything I learned came from the mistakes I made the first time around, in the first year. 😬 If you have an online business but also want... ➡️ A regulated nervous system ➡️ Part time hours ➡️ No complexity Learn from my lessons 👇 The first year I launched my online biz I was EXHAUSTED. So many products. So many places to be. And what felt like no time to do any of it. I was so intimidated by all the rhetoric around six figure launches and running ads and everyone working 16 hours per day but the reality was that between two young children and a 9-5 I didn't have that much time to give. So I made a bold decision to simplify all the things, and outsource for consistency and THAT was the first year I hit six figures in revenue. Here's what I did ⤵️ ✨ Cut out all 1:1 services and mini programs and just had one single signature online course (priced in the middle of the market) ✨ Live launched... but regularly ~4-6 times per year. This meant that my audience awareness skyrocketed, the biz had lots of momentum, and we had the urgency of live launching but people didn't have to wait and find something else. ✨ Automated so much of the delivery and onboarding, and rinsed and repeated about 80% of my launch assets each time - so I could just focus on growing my audience and providing value to my community ✨ Hired a Podcast Manager and a VA - so I was able to show up regularly and once I finished recording the podcast, everything else was taken care of. So... THIS BUSINESS 👇 I did the same 🌴Quickly refined to 1 time leveraged program (mid - high ticket) 🌴 Flash sales only for lower ticket products 🌴 Live launched .. again and again and again (and refined the messaging every time) 🌴 Invested (time + energy) into growth Ask me any Q's on online courses and how I used to launch in the comments 💬 #femalebusinesscoach #womeninbusiness #onlinecourselaunch #digitalproducts

Comment “SECRET” and I’ll give you the behind the scenes for scaling my Pinterest Management business while raising babies ☺️ As a Pinterest manager…You’re a freelancer, and service-based business. You offer and in-demand service, and business owners will pay you for your expertise! And yes, it absolutely sounds too good to be true 🤭 But let me tell you, you can and will be successful if you’re determined and willing to take action. I’ve gotten a lot of DM’s lately saying, “I want to work from home, is this real though? There are so many scams out there”. Being a Pinterest manager is as “real” as being a: web designer, copywriter, social media manager, podcast manager, virtual assistant, etc. You see, they’re all freelance services you can offer when you start a business. Some people start freelancing and look at it as a side hustle, but I don’t recommend actually looking at it as a “side hustle”. Yeah it can maybe start out that way until you get to a point where you’re comfortable enough to quit your 9-5, but I recommend thinking about it as a new profession. One that will take work. It’s not going to just fall into your lap. I like to be transparent because if you get started thinking it will be easy, it won’t be. 🤷🏻‍♀️ But it will be worth it. How badly do you want to be at home? How badly do you want to quit your job that maybe no longer feels aligned? How willing are you to sit with the uncomfortable while you learn and put yourself out there? These are good question to think on 💭 Continue in comments ⬇️
