Day 49 of Learning Robotics! I’m getting closer to finally running multiple motors at once which means that I’ll have to figure out a better way of powering my components. This isn’t as easy as plugging a single motor controller into my PSU and I need to be really careful here (even with a fire extinguisher). The coils on the motor can easily heat up and catch on fire, so I need a safe way to capture the excess energy and disperse it safely. Which is why I got a regen clamp, DC bus bars, a better PSU and more. Can’t wait to share what I’ve learned :) #engineering #robotics #current #electricalengineering #robot
