I was honestly a little embarrassed to post this… but also really proud. 🫣🌊 I was so nervous going alone, especially the first few sessions. But I kept showing up, and slowly, I built confidence. 🤍 If you’re learning to surf (or thinking about it), I hope this gives you a little nudge. It’s hard at first, but every session teaches you something. The more you show up, the easier and more fun it gets. Big thanks to @flowstate for capturing the progress! As a visual learner, watching the playback helped me so much 🎥💕 Wave pools like URBNSURF gave me the space to practice, build technique, and actually catch waves, which is huge when you’re starting out. But the ocean? She’s unpredictable, humbling, and always keeping you on your toes. Nothing replaces learning to real conditions, paddle through chaos, and time sets with no beeps. (+ surf etiquette) If you’re learning and have access to a wave pool: go. It’ll fast-track your progress and make the ocean feel way less overwhelming 💙 @urbnsurf #SurfProgress #URBNSURF #LearnToSurf #flowstatezone #WavePoolToOcean
