When I climb a tree, the job starts on the ground — not in the air.
Before I ever leave the ground, I check the tree for dead limbs, cracks, and weak spots. A tree can look healthy and still be dangerous.
My rope is my lifeline. We use gear made for tree work, not shortcuts or guesswork. Where I tie in matters because it controls how weight moves through the tree.
I move slow and with purpose. Good climbing isn’t about being strong — it’s about staying balanced, aware, and in control.
Helmets, eye protection, and safety gear aren’t optional. Tree work changes fast, and you have to be ready for it.
