I know, I know we’re on the “I look my age” bandwagon, but if this in ANY way hits a nerve, I am DYING to know! 🤪
When I was younger, say early 50’s, when my kids would blurt my age out to other adults, they would usually say: “WHAT?!?!? I don’t believe it!”
Those comments started tapering off at some point, maybe when my neck lost its tightness and let loose under my jaw, or when the crepey skin on my arms and legs (shorts, summer) showed up out of nowhere with determination.
It’s really hard to hide lizard skin, 🫣especially if like me you just won’t stop wearing bikinis, tank tops and shorts.
The truth is that the older I get, the more “I look my age” meaning I look like the concept that people have of what it looks like to be that age. And that’s just the way the cookie crumbles.

I am grateful to even be alive at 60 and I also believe in looking at the lighter side of life whenever possible! 🥳
I am excited about turning 65, 70, 80 - and beyond if possible. If anyone finds it offensive in any way it is definitely not how it is intended. It is also not a true scenario. 🥸
