Over 900 workers at Amazon’s SWF1 and SWF2 facilities in Rock Tavern, N.Y., signed a petition to floor managers demanding higher wages, more transparency on Amazon’s policies, and full pay for any extra hours worked during the holiday season. The workers include warehouse workers, delivery drivers, and Amazon Flex drivers at both Rock Tavern facilities.
Day by day, Amazon workers across the nation are taking the step to hold Amazon accountable by joining the Teamsters. We will not rest until Amazon is organized and Amazon Teamsters are treated with the respect and dignity they have earned.

The Amazon Flex Rewards are linked to driver performance and delivery volume. If you only drive occasionally for Amazon Flex, it will be hard to get much from the program.
If you’re a regular, though, there are plenty of possibilities for being paid back for your hard work. The rewards program is a good way for Amazon Flex to make up for the fact that drivers don’t get tips or benefit from the surges and challenges rideshare and delivery drivers enjoy.
