However, once we introduce the time axis, the reality shifts. What looked like a perfect circle is actually a 3D helix (a spiral). The two points are moving at different "heights" in time, meaning that while they may look aligned from above, they are actually miles apart in the third dimension. They are chasing a shadow of a meeting that can never happen.
