Please write and ring your Federal Decision Maker telling them you want our Nature Laws strengthened not weakened. You want to see our Wildlife and their Homes protected. You want them to End Native Forest Logging to save our Iconic Wildlife like the Koala, Great Glider, Glossy Black Cockatoo, Swift Parrot, Masked Owl and all our Threatened Species from Extinction. You want them to represent your voice when they return to parliament this week. You want them to say no to weakening our Nature Laws that exist to Protect Nature for Future Generations. I had an awesome day today speaking on Gadigal Country at the March in March for Native Forests. I was filled with hope of a brighter future seeing how many people came out today throughout Australia to show how much they love nature. It feels so good to stand up and act for what you believe in and be surrounded by so many amazing people that care about the future for Wildlife and humans. To all the Kids out there have hope about our Future. You too can have your Voice Heard by telling the Adults around you how you feel about nature and that you want to see all of our Wildlife and their Homes Protected. Looking down, there are vast scars on the landscape where greater glider homes once stood,” O’Gorman said. 🌳 But there is hope! On August 30th, the NSW Environment Protection Authority issued an immediate Stop Work Order for 40 days. 🛑🌿 Time's running out - we have 20 days remaining until logging can start back up again. For weeks now, the Greens have been negotiating hard with Labor to improve and pass much needed new environment laws, with a focus on ending destructive native forest logging. That was before in the eleventh hour, Anthony Albanses stepped in and put an end to it all after receiving a call from WA Premier, lobbying on behalf of the fossil fuel and mining industries. Right now, in the parliament the Greens are fighting to protect our native forests from the chainsaws and the bulldozers, and fix the environment laws to stop the logging of our native forests.
