If I had to start learning coding from scratch again in 2026, this is honestly the path I’d follow.
I’d focus on understanding how the web works first, then go deep into JavaScript, backend, and actually building things. No jumping between random tutorials, no trying to learn everything at once.
This approach is what helped things finally click for me. Once you have a solid foundation with web apps, learning things like Python or AI feels way less confusing and a lot more practical.
If you’re just starting out, or you feel stuck and don’t know what to learn next, this roadmap should give you some clarity.
