BRRediscovered Marikina through local coffee shops.
Marikina is home to a lot of friendly neighborhood cafes. These are just the ones I've tried so far. Some of the coffee shops are literally houses converted to cozy and homey cafes. And some of them are within walking distance of each other, making it easy to explore (but walking distance can be subjective lol).
Marikina is relatively cleaner and has a more laid back vibe compared to other cities in Metro Manila. I was also amazed that some of the food and drinks are more affordable here. I think Marikina is an underrated food and coffee destination.
PS. The numbering is not based on quality or my preference. That's just the chronological order of when I visited them.
