Lincoln said, “We can’t possibly build 600,000 gallows.” They said how will we carry out the sentences when it will leave us with 600,000 corpses? Lincoln said, “A battlefield is a normal place to deal with that many bodies.” #missinformation #civilwar #history This in fact I believe why he was assassinated.

The idea that Abraham Lincoln’s assassination was part of a broader Confederate conspiracy emerged almost immediately after his death. Coded letters found in John Wilkes Booth’s trunk at the National Hotel appeared to link him to Confederate operatives, raising early suspicions of a larger plot. Interest in this theory resurfaced decades later. In 1977, researchers uncovered a statement made by conspirator George Atzerodt before the 1865 trial, in which he claimed Booth had knowledge of a Confederate plan to destroy the White House. The concept of an organized Confederate operation was explored in depth in Come Retribution: The Confederate Secret Service and the Assassination of Lincoln (1988) by William A. Tidwell, James O. Hall, and David Winfred Gaddy. Tidwell later expanded on this research in April ’65: Confederate Covert Action in the American Civil War (1995). Larry Starkey’s Wilkes Booth Came to Washington also suggested Confederate involvement, though less extensively. More recently, John Fazio’s Decapitating the Union: Jefferson Davis, Judah Benjamin and the Plot to Assassinate Lincoln (2015) further supported the argument. Proponents of the theory argue that as the Confederacy faced collapse, its leadership turned to increasingly desperate measures. Lincoln was viewed as a legitimate wartime target—especially after a failed Union raid on Richmond led by Ulrich Dahlgren, which Lincoln had approved. Dahlgren was killed during the mission, and documents recovered from his body outlined plans to burn Richmond and assassinate Jefferson Davis and his cabinet. To Confederate leaders, these documents were seen as evidence that Lincoln had sanctioned the killing of Davis—reinforcing the belief that retaliating against the Union president was both justified and necessary.

LINCOLN’S ASSASSINATION WASN’T JUST A MURDER… IT MAY HAVE BEEN A PLAN. In the shadows of history, some truths refuse to stay buried.Almost immediately after Abraham Lincoln’s assassination, whispers of a much larger conspiracy began to spread—one that went far beyond a single man pulling the trigger. Coded letters discovered in John Wilkes Booth’s trunk at the National Hotel hinted at something deeper… a connection to the Confederacy itself. Over the years, what many dismissed as speculation slowly evolved into a chilling possibility. In 1977, a long-lost statement from conspirator George Atzerodt resurfaced—revealing that Booth may have known about a Confederate plot far more destructive than imagined… a plan that allegedly included blowing up the White House. Historians and researchers revisited these claims, bringing new life to the theory. Books like Come Retribution and April ’65 painted a darker picture—one where covert operations, secret networks, and desperate wartime strategies blurred the line between assassination and organized attack. By 2015, the theory had grown even stronger—suggesting that high-ranking Confederate figures might have been connected to a calculated effort to destabilize the Union by eliminating its leader. As the Confederacy began to collapse, desperation turned into risk. Lincoln was no longer just a president—he became a target. Especially after the failed Dahlgren Raid on Richmond, which signaled a ruthless shift in Union strategy, tensions reached a breaking point.Colonel Ulrich Dahlgren died in that mission—but what followed may have ignited something far more dangerous. Was Lincoln’s assassination an act of revenge? Or the final move in a desperate, coordinated plan. History gives us answers… but sometimes, it hides the truth even deeper. Did you know George Washington was not actually the first president of the United States? The history books conveniently leave out the American Confederacy and the coup that ended it. Long before George Washington took office, John Hanson served as the final president of the American Confederacy. In a massive power grab, Federalist leaders staged a quiet coup to eliminate the Confederacy and establish a stronger Federal Republic. Their ultimate goal was to enforce an income tax, establish a Supreme Court, and create a Central Bank. The original draft of the U.S. Constitution was considered so tyrannical that many founding fathers walked out of the first convention. They viewed the Constitution as a document of oppression, which is exactly why the Bill of Rights had to be added by force just to get it signed. 🎙️ JOIN THE LIVE AMA: We break down the true macro-history of the empire every Tuesday at 2 PM EST on Kurt’s Podcast. 🔔 SUBSCRIBE: Hit the bell so you never miss a live deep dive. 🌐 THE RESEARCH: Get the unedited truth and raw data at kurtwuckertjr.com. #History #GeorgeWashington #USConstitution #AmericanHistory #KurtsPodcast

The U.S. Constitution isn’t just a historical artifact gathering dust—it’s a living blueprint for governance, and its stance on who holds the keys to war is crystal clear. While modern geopolitics often blurs the lines of authority, the founders intentionally tethered the power of war-making to the people’s representatives. It wasn't an arbitrary choice; it was a deliberate check on executive power designed to ensure that the most consequential decision a nation can make—sending citizens into conflict—demands public accountability. This vital perspective serves as a powerful reminder of why that constitutional oath still matters today. #Constitution #USPolitics #WarPowers #History #Civics
