but never finish the quote.
“A jack of all trades is a master of none, but oftentimes better than a master of one.”
For so long, we were taught that credibility comes from narrowing.
That seriousness means choosing one thing.
That if you’re good at many things, you must be confused, unfocused, or not committed enough.
But what if the opposite is true?
What if your ability to see across disciplines; art, strategy, law, culture, business, storytelling, is not a weakness, but a rare form of intelligence?
I used to think I had to cut parts of myself off to be taken seriously.
Now I know my work exists because I refused to.
Today, I’m a creative consultant working with multipotentialites, people with layered identities, nonlinear careers, and more than one calling, helping them integrate everything they are into work that actually makes sense (and money).
This is your reminder that:
• You’re not behind
• You’re not “too much”
• You’re not scattered
You’re early.
We’re in a renaissance moment, culturally, creatively, spiritually.
The future doesn’t belong to specialists who can only see one lane.
It belongs to translators. Integrators. Bridge-builders.
People who can hold complexity and make something new from it.

Aziz Ansari said his work on Master of None helped him write Gabriel for Keanu Reeves teaching him how to turn real conversations with actors into natural dialogue. He first based Gabriel on Reeves’ comedic roles like Bill & Ted but after Reeves joined he refined the part to highlight his calm, mystical energy. Ansari noted Reeves’ “sweetness and wiseness” and drew inspiration from his mythic roles in The Devil’s Advocate and John Wick.
